Love these little critters. Friendly and quiet and with none of the destructive nature of squirrels.
I have 2 around this year.
They both favour the tiny white millet seeds and I wonder how many hundreds, even thousands, of seeds it takes to bulge their cheeks but somehow they manage to do exactly that.

They are very sweet and friendly of course. This year, there are about five of them. Besides peanuts, the like sunflower seeds and grapes. I haven't seen them collecting millet seeds though...

Of course not, they are wild animals and it is just fine like that. Last summer there were six of them, btw.
