It is a lovely bird and it looks very much like our chickadees indeed.
Our House Sparrows are very different, though: [link]
Thank you very much!

Thank you so much!
Which one is it? Have some seeds on your hand, call them, have your camera ready, remember they are fast.

Closest I can ever get is about 30 feet (10 meters).

If you have seeds and you call them (easy, two notes) and if you stay still, they will come. You must be a little patient - not too much though - and you don't move, only your hand when you see them.
Good luck!

Thank you very much, Tea!
It requires a little patience, seeds, imitation of their cry (easy! ) and to be fast enough on the shutter, they come and go very fast.

How neat! You got it to land on your hand. I've had chickadees come up to me looking for crumbs, but never had one actually land on me. If it did, I would probably not have my camera ready!

Thank you very much!
I love chickadees, they are very friendly as you know.
When I go hiking in the woods, I bring some seeds and I call them (very easy to imitate their cry) and there are almost always some which come. Now it is more difficult to take photos if they come on my hand, they are so fast!
