Chipmunks are very wary little animals. We can see it on the picture, where it is sitting on its tale.This one is Sam - the only one I give a name to - who came to see me and collect seeds all Summer long.

chipmunks are fun to feed.......they have a resting stop going to estes park and its full of these tiny animals and everybody knows to bring food to feed them......ty for this very cute gift!

Actually, these chipmunks live in the forest and are very wary. If they have not gain their confidence, peole barely see them.
It tokk me 3 months to tame a little the first chipmunk.

I will need to find a pic of one of our granddaughters feeding these guys........u should come here and see all of the scatter about when people come...they get so excited they dont know who to come to first. You do have patience if it took u so long to befriend them.....that was fun for sure

The ear was perfectly healed. It must have happened in early spring.
He got also wounded in the belly, this summer but it wasn't looking bad when I left.
