Usually, squirrels are wild animals. I don't know anybody who has one as a pet. Maybe a baby abandoned by its mother could be a nice pet though. 
This squirrel is wild of course. She is a little tamed but not that much.

Ah, elle l'est Hélène et elle semblait calme, apaisée. Les écureuils et tamias femelles mettent au monde et s'occupent seules de leurs bébés - plusieurs mois de dévouement total.
