I know there's been some concern regarding Rain lately, considering it's been almost two months since the last time a new page was posted (it hurts to even say that). But I want to assure you it's not over, and I don't intend for it to be over any time soon (we're actually only at approximately the halfway point to my goal). So, don't go too far. Rain IS coming back.Anyway, yeah. Four years ago today, the very first page of Rain went up. I'm not really sure what else to add that I haven't already poured my heart out over on previous anniversaries. Let me just say this though: I've put a lot into Rain over the years, and I've gotten a lot back in return (like an amazing, diverse, loyal, and just plain wonderful readership who will stick by me through times of uncertainty, and the incredible feeling of self-worth that comes from that). And this is, I think, in large part why I've been able to keep so optimistic through my current ordeal. It's been scary for sure (still is a little), but I'm here and I'm happy and I'm eager to tell this story to the end.
With that said, despite this long hiatus, I do want to raise a glass to four straight years of mostly consistent posting thus far. May there be at least another four to five years of queer drama, silly humor, and more love triangles than anyone knows what to do with. XD

I've seen some of your panels for Rain, and it seems fascinating, but the sheer amount of it is kind of daunting. I wish there was a sort of synopsis resource out there so that I could catch up on the plot a bit. If there is, could anybody point me to it?

Having a great deal of experience with hiatuses, can I say this feels like nowhere near as long of one as it's been? The efforts you've made to keep in touch with your fans and keep us updated on when we can expect this to end and plyed with bonus content have really made it easier - right from being told from the start. There was no confusing period where pages were added days late with soon-to-be-broken promises that the next one would be on time, you told us from the start that you had a medical problem, that it might be up to some months before you could update again and you've kept us all in the loop in times when you had plenty of other things to occupy brain space.
So thank you, Jocelyn, for being so kind to your readers throughout this hiatus and I'm seriously hyped for the continuation of Rain, whenever it's safe to begin. ^_^

This is great, Jocelyn! I think my favorite panel is the one with li'l "Vivian" in the bottom right corner, but it's a great selection overall. I'll have to add this to my desktop background slideshow.
Also, I know that Rain is far from over - both in the sense that there's still a lot to go, and that I know you won't abandon this wonderful project. Thank you, Jocelyn, for making such an enlightening and enjoyable webcomic, and for inspiring thousands of readers and fans. I hope you can soon reach a state where you feel comfortable continuing telling this story.

I look forward to many, many, many more pages of Rain. They're always good, often cute, often funny, and sometimes with just things everyone ought to read. It's really good and I have both volumes so far and they've got a prime spot on my shelf (by which I mean they're the only books on my shelf right now because I'm too lazy to unpack the others!)
