Actually, I drew this close to a month ago. Wasn't quite sure when to post it though. But I woke up this morning thinking how there's still a week until Pokemon Sun and Moon come out, and how much I could really use that lighthearted distraction right about now. I'm still not sure I'm quite ready to discuss the context of the pic itself here (though I bet some might pick up on it), but I figured the pic is cute and just what I needed at the moment. So whatever. As long you folks like this, then I regret nothing. ^_^Also, you may have seen the trainer in my gallery before fairly recently (a couple times, even).

Aw, very cute picture. I can hardly wait for the next gen to come out. I've got most of my team already planned out in my head and I will probably be looking up guides on where to find them. ... Though, like in gen 6, even though I planned out a team for that one, my team for this one might change as I play through it.

Yush it releases on the 18th in most of the world (UK/EU might be behind, but DEFO the 18th in Aus/NZ), I has the Collectors Edition of both Sun & Moon on the way to me from EB Games (GAME/Gamestop) as pre-orders.

I still dunno which one I'm gonna get, because I've no idea what pokemon are exclusive to each one.

I believe I've heard that Passimian and Alolan Vulpix are in Sun, and Oranguru and Alolan Sandshrew are in Moon. I could be mistaken though, and I'm not sure how many others there might be. The only other difference is that Sun uses your 3DS clock's time to establish the game time, whereas Moon is 12 hours ahead (so it'll be night in-game if you play during the day and vice versa).
I'm definitely getting Moon because I think the time differential thing sounds kinda neat. I really adore Alolan Vulpix, but I'm no stranger to doing online trades if I want one.

There is always Pokemon Bank, if you get both, you could just get a Alolan Vulpix and transfer it over to Moon. I plan on getting Sun myself, at least at first. Do you have the demo and its main-game transferable Ash-Greninja?

Yeah, I did the demo, including all of the timed events, so I've got lots of little rewards to transfer into the main game. I probably won't be using Ash-Greninja ('cause I'm deadset on the Water starter), but it's cool that I'll have it. ^_^
The Pokemon Bank won't be compatible with Sun/Moon until January or so, I've heard, so that might not be an option for a little while. Either way, I think I'll be fine if I don't have Alolan Vulpix on my first run. If I get into this as much as I did X (which I played through four times since it came out), I'm not too worried about it. I'll just trade for Vulpix and breed the fast leveling out of it on one playthrough, and use it on another. ^_^

Yeah, I did the did the demo too, so I know what you mean. I'm planning on getting Litten for Sun, not only does it have the perfect typing to battle Solgaleo, but I like the look of Incineroar. OK then, I hadn't heard about the exact date of that. BTW, you heard about the Munchlax offer, right?

Oh wow, I think you just helped me decide which version to get. For sometime I have been on the fence as to which version to get. Though I am not sure if I will use an Alolan Sandshrew on my team, right now it just tipped my favors for Moon. Thank you.

Apparently, a list of exclusives was released the other day. I decided on getting Sun mainly because of the Vulpix, actually. ^^ The only moon-exclusive one I kinda want is Drampa.
Also, speaking of traded pokemon - apparently the Daycare shows up really early on, so you could get trades of the other game's pokemon, then hatch new ones that you can nickname & will listen to you.

Yes, it's true. Alola Vulpix is in Sun and Alola Sandshrew is in Moon. I'm picking Sun first, namely because I like Midday Lycanroc more than the Midnight version, even though I really love Lunala and think its beautiful. I'm gonna have my mom buy me Moon for Christmas.
