I realize I haven’t canonically mentioned anyone’s ages, but Fara is in her late thirties and Heather is 22. I’m mentioning this now in case someone was going to say something about underage drinking. You’ll notice Ky(lie) (at age 16) is not holding a beer (though I’m sure he’s had it before).
Also, in case anyone hadn’t caught on yet, Heather’s a little closed-minded (wait, a little?). This of course leads to the butting of heads with Aunt Fara who probably couldn’t be more supportive of transfolk is she tried.
Highlight of the page: The second to last panel is pretty badass in my opinion. I can’t tell you how many parents I want to say Fara’s line to.

I have to admit I really like this page for a few reasons.
One is that you made Fara the registered TG expert in this setting. And ironically the strongest speaker on the subject. Especially when she spoke up for Ky when Heather made such an inappropriate joke.
Another is Ky actually confirming "his" feelings. Especially when she made the 'passing question' we all asked before. The passing question being the 'what would you do if I changed sex' and the final panel being 'WOW, can you adopt me?' Hearing that made me laugh as Fara was like 'WHAAAAT'
I also enjoy you using Ky to show the motions of pre-therapy. Where as we saw Ryan when he already became Rain, we are seeing Kylie before she became Ky. It really is a fascinating development to see you do. And seeing that you continue to be accurate in your storytelling makes me smile.

While this brings up interesting possibilities, some how i foresee a friendship between Ky(lie) and Aunt Fara and it probably going to drive Heather nuts. I love the last page it just seems out of character for Ky(lie) to say "Oh my god". Great page thou.

Now that I look at it, saying Ky(lie) is pretty clever. Being gender specific, but emphasizing the (lie) by separating it from the rest of the name? Again, maybe I'm reading too much into it.
With Ky(lie) and Heather being siblings, I could see this being two ways. Either everything is as it seems and Ky is being stifled, or Kylie is exaggerating because it gets on Heather's nerves. Guess we'll see...

Although the girl MIGHT have a point in this ONE case; we're dealing with someone who likes switching back and forth, right now: so I'm not sure if her getting an operation would be right for her.
It might also not be entirely her fault... Ky(lie) doesn't seem like the sort that would have really expressed his/her emotions... so "Heather" may have no reason to view it as anything but a "weird hobby" at this point; after all, Ky(lie) didn't even know what transgender meant, and hasn't shown any signs of truly wanting to become a different sex for more than a few minutes. From her point of view, it might seem more like something that will get Ky(lie) beaten up, and less like something he/she honestly and truly needs to be complete. (The offhanded way in which he/she said it might not help in that regard, either.)
