Going to Ark-La-Tex Comic Con this weekend, needed a new sign, my old one got trashed while moving a couple of years back. Had some fun with the lettering at the top and the art.Related content

I was really pleased with how the arts and the SKETCHES part came out. The Price thing, less so. Hand lettering is a hand-cramping bitch.

I took Drafting in Junior High best traing for art in my mind. My drafting Teacher insisted that Lettering was just as important as art so I try to make sure that my writing is up to her exacting standards (she was a Nun)(oldschool type)

True. Drafting teaches discipline, also teaches you to rely on your tools. For comics, you need that, you also need to crack the "mystery" of telling a story, visually. Will Eisner's book is good for that.
