Among the Demi-humans of the HeroBlog universe are many...most...of the legendary creature types. Including monsters and other critters. Most of them are not at all friendly to humans, but a small number of individuals have been helpful to humans throughout history. In this case, she's a pixie whose clan lives among humans. She has a name, but goes by Pyxi. She's four inches tall, can fly at bullet speeds and has a paralyzing venom in her stingers, which extend from her elbows. She's also very, very hard to kill.When Liberator forms the new Valiants in the 27th century, she joins up.

Well, the design I came up with is not all that far from the other Hoplite designs I've shown so far. I like to keep basic design elements similar unless there's a reason to radically change them, like recasting the role, or something. In this case, I think I came up with a little different twist. I had to think of a reason why he'd still be on Earth, when all the supers were exiled in 2119, even the techno-types who weren't technically superhuman. Magic lets you get fuzzy with your definitions. Especially if you don't have the inclination to do the homework and get it right. Magister is one of those sorcerers who relies on personal power to fill in the gaps in his knowledge.
I need to clean up the drawing and color it, then I'll post it sometime this weekend.

Well, I had an idea for Hoplite and I'm going to be doing some art work this weekend, for a change. Yay! Also building a new computer, that will become my new art computer.

Thanks. I'm trying to think of some more, but not having much luck. I may have to go back and scope out the Avengers roster to see if I can find some inspiration.
