How did he do that without disturbing her? Magic, of course. The same way he carries a whole picnic in his pants and can hold up his, Tyler, DJ and Owen's combined weight with his scrawny arms. The extra work I would have had to expend drawing more poses had nothing to do with it.

Sort of inspired by this , which is really sweet but more risqué than I feel comfortable emulating myself. I don't really have any firm story behind this---I sort of want this to be when they're older and married, but I don't think they really look any older (though Cody doesn't look nearly as shrimpy. Not quite sure how that happened.) Anyway, come up with whatever little back story you want for this.

This particular sleep outfit of Gwen's was from TDA. I don't think we've ever seen Cody in pajamas, so I made something up. That's actually why this is in panels, incidentally---I drew the first scene, then decided they looked more cozy with the covers up, but balked at the idea of covering up Cody's pants after all the time and effort I did drawing all those stripes. I think it comes out nicer like this anyway.
