Description
Playing some more with "ULTIMATE Grass & Meadow Worldbuilder" in DAZ Studio and Iray. This time I experimented with adding some trees from "Iray Worlds-Plus" and lighting everything with "Iray Ghost Light Kit 2". No post workRelated content

Thank you my friend, It's always fun to try to light night scenes

The picture rocks. I like that. I hope these two get along.
Even if I no longer touch the "ULTIMATE Grass & Meadow Worldbuilder" myself until I have upgraded my PC.

Thank you, I had everything is full sunlight until near the end of the process, but everything seemed to lack any emotional punch. So I turned off all the lights and added a few ghost lights to create a mood by selectively lighting elements. It hid most of the details, but really changed the whole scene dynamics to something much more interesting.
I am really liking the "Grass & Meadow Worldbuilder" so far, but am still figuring out how it works. I have only been using the presets so far. Thank god there are a ton of them

Thank you for all your kindness and encouragement, This started as a daylight scene and as an excuse to add some trees to a grassy meadow. Then I added the house and woman, but it felt boring. So I added a dragon and made it a night scene and it got much more interesting. Finally it needed a title and it felt like there was a story. What that story is I have no idea, but it's fun to imagine all the possibilities

Great to see more Worldbuilder stuff.
I don't know if this was intended, but that picture has a Skyrim-like feeling to me.

Thank you, I played way too much Skyrim, so I can't help but have that in the back of my mind when creating any fantasy scene. This scene started as a daylight scene and as an excuse to add some trees to a grassy meadow. Then I added the house and woman, but it felt boring. So I added a dragon and made it a night scene and it got much more interesting. Finally it needed a title and it felt like there was a story. Thank you, I always love the way grass looks in Vue, so I couldn't resist playing with the "ULTIMATE Grass & Meadow Worldbuilder" in DAZ Studio to see if I could emulate that look

The result is impressive, I still say you should make something out of these scenes you create.

I started all these experiments to try to increase my skills to make little movies. Unfortunately animating them turned out a lot harder than anticipated. Maybe short comics might be more feasible.

True (I know how that goes all too well), short comic or maybe or something more interactive for the web (kind of like Myst or those other 3d wonders (I know I am giving away my age by saying that, but when I look at your work I often want to rummage through the scene, and get into the world you created.))

That is funny because I never had anyone interested in purchasing my 3d artwork, but people still feel the need to steal them and claim them as their own work. My 3d work is just throw away experiments to increase my skills, so there isn't much value to someone else in claiming credit for them

Bargaining with Shadows... Look lady, that dragon's just going to run away with your shinies so he/she/it can spoon with them for years years, and attack anyone who steps to close. We all know how this goes you'd have better luck bargaining with demons.
In a more serious note, this is really cool! Almost looks like a part of a cut-scene for a game or something similar!

Sounds like there was quite a process to get to this point, but I'll tell you it was well worth it! As far as story goes, I like the idea of the dragon running off with her shinies XD
