Very cool! Looks like a huge scene, thanks to M.O.M.?

Thank you, It felt so empty without the crowd from M.O.M. It's a very old product, but it didn't look too bad with custom images and hidden in the darkness

great scene, this has a real oil painting feel, like it belongs on a castle wall as part of its history
I love the ghost light kits, they are some of my most used lighting tools

Thank you, I wanted to try and get that candle lit feeling and was worried that I picked the darkest part of the castle to stage the scene
I love the the ghost light kit. I only have the one kit, how are the other kits?

the 1st one is just a single panel but it can be shaped and moved to really make the light work stand out with out a lot of effort

I love the Ghost Light Kit 2 and the MOM Crowd Generator too --- you've set up the lighting just perfect here!

Thank you, the idea when I started this scene was to make some ghost light presets for the the "MICK-Bundle"'s Great hall. The preset scenes in the "MICK-Bundle" take forever to render with the default lights. So I wanted to make some presets I could just save and use over and over. I added the atmosphere to try and scatter the light, but it really just added the noise back in. Then the room felt so empty and I though I could get away with creating a simple crowd since the camera angle was in one of the dark nooks

Methinks you've made this lighter. Details are more visible now but the candle glow effect remains strong.

I did cheat a little and go back and adjust the levels to try to bring out some of the details in the shadows

Well the crowd seems to have worked perfectly well, and the hall looks great! When you use the MOM - does it recognize the ground height (on an uneven plane/Ground?) or do you have to adjust that yourself?

JoePingleton In reply to Magnus-Strindboem [2018-08-27 01:20:14 +0000 UTC]
Thank you, I decided to try a quick custom crowd to fill in all the space in this scene. The "M.O.M. Crowd Generator" is really old. I picked up way back when I was still using Poser. Unfortunately it doesn't automatically recognize ground height. Someday I will have to try the new Now Crowd Billboards in DAZ, they seem a lot more flexible.

right! I always have trouble with the preset lighting. I usually take out the lights and the camera, then add in my own.
