Thank you, I was getting frustrated with my recent volumetric light experiments. So I went back to basics, one light, one window with some texture and some figures to catch the shadows

Thank you, I felt that the artists that make the stuff I use needed some love for all their hard work that allows me to even attempt these images. I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could do things without post work. It would probably be better if I did some.

I does make the images better. This is probably the best result I have gotten from it. I was never satisfied with my other attempts with AtmoCam for Iray, so I started over with a whole different process for this image.

I have played around with volumetrics in Vue, but nothing this good. Mostly making hole's in the sky etc for godray type effects.

Thank you, The trick was to not have any other lights in the scene, so that the volumetric light didn't have anything to fight against it. I've never been able to get good volumetrics in a bright scene without some post work.
