Description This is my first quick experiment with dForce and Daz Studio 4.10 and Iray.  I didn't have any dForce clothing, but discovered that you can add a dynamic dForce modifier to any object.  After trying it on some existing clothing, I decided to go very basic and just apply a dForce modifier to a plane (with 100 division) and drape them over some System 46 figures. Very nice result. Personally, I didn't try Daz Studio 4.10 yet, and respectively didn't research dForce. Will it work for conforming GF2 and GF3 clothing?

It looks like it will work on anything, but like most simulations it may take some experimentation to get the desired results.  I tried it on some genesis conforming clothing and it worked.  It did some weird things when I tried it on a dress with multiple layered dynamic cloth, but I had that problem in Carrara and Poser too.  It's a lot easier to use and produces better results than the old dynamic clothing system in DAZ Studio.  Many more experiments are needed to discover it's pros and cons

Thank you much for the info. I will need to download the latest version and try it out.

After more experimentation I learned that dForce works great on products built for it, but on other things it takes some patience

Looks good. So far nothing went puff for you?

Thank you, I tried to layer an old dress with lots of overlapping layers and it acted kind of weird.  Also I tried it on some hair and it puffed.  Sa I decided to try something simple to start learning how it work

Hair isn't supported yet and apparently there is a bug related to geografts, but so far it's pretty decent.

It seemed to work better with older hair that is more one solid object versus one with lots of strands.  Lot's of experiments are needed to find out what works well with it.  Already it seems much better than the old dynamic cloth solutions in DAZ Studio.

Thank you. This is a first test, but it looks like dynamic cloth just got a lot easier to use
