I really love this,
& the style of painting you did makes the name scars so appropiate
as odd as is, the impurities of this painting makes it perfect(:

amazing texture and color use as usual, I think these portraits really suit your style of painting.
it's funny, one of my friends has hair like hers except it's teal.

i really love the hair. each stroke almost looks sloppy but then it's obviously very purposeful. it gives a nice feel

when i think of the word "scars", inevitably i envision long dagger marks or burn tissue on someone's face et cetera. but this painting challenges that perception by making the title more ... abstract (?) i guess. especially how there are scar-like marks on the wall behind her, yet none on the subject.
kudos. you pulled off purple hair without coming across as creepy/emo/cheesy.

Thanks... I was kind of going for the idea that even though we try to cover our scars, they are more visible than we know.

I like your colour combo at the top right, and the hair- I like how the blue finger smudge works with a bit of white. Its just something you can't do with a brush.

Thanks, I only use my fingers a little bit, but I think I'm going to experiment more with it.

I love the choice of colors, very well put together. It's absolutely beautiful and creative. The bright colors offset the darkness of the piece, but they also make it darker in a perverse sort of a happy death kind of way.
Anyhow, great work, it's amazing.
