So yeah, this wouldn't necessarily be the end-all-be-all hip-hop montage I would rock personally, but these were the artists mentioned by the person I did this for. I intentionally lessened the amount of detail on the roots and Jay-Z so your eye would move inward on the entire piece, and there wouldn't be a huge struggle between the different elements.Related content

other than that, the piece is spot on, as most of your work usually is.. i love your Pac-BIG/West-East rendition and how Outkast is the centerpiece, though i don't understand Jay-Z and The Roots being in the middle..

Nah that's Scott Storch from the Roots... I'm sort of insulted that you would even think I'd put that fucking clown on anything I do, regardless if the client asks for it or not. I'd knock that dude's "GRILL" into the back of his skull.
Well, trust me, if I get the chance, I'm doing my own version with my own choices of lyricists on this. Unfortunately, I gotta do what people ask if I wanna make some scratch off it, you know?

and i can understand where you're coming from.. it sucks that you have to go against your feelings in your art (which is kinda counter-productive if you think about it), but hey, you gotta put food on your plate.. and you're lucky to be doing what you love to do, which is the most important thing..
either way, superb work on this.. can't wait to see your version..

this is easily the best hip hop themed vector piece i've seen in ages.
love the design, 'specially how you included pac and biggie here. (just went through your gallery and saw a piece with the same images of them, i think...i like this version better)
only thing as already mentioned before would be the corners, but that ain't enough to not fav this.

Yeah, I'm getting this printed, so that's just the extra bleed on it for when the cut the print, so those corners won't even be on there really.
