My only gripe with this one is the smaller planet/moon. It looks a bit squashed to me. Otherwise this is a total image full of awesome. Nice job!

Thank you a lot .
Geez, I should have written it in the description - it is eliptic, it's a moon, it doesn't have enough mass to keep spherical shape. (even Earth isn't perfectly circular)

I usually try not to release a high resolution that cannot be compared to the preview.

Hah, it can be compared; the preview still looks quite nice in this respect. But one can take in their details somewhat better with the higher resolution.

A fine space art composition! lightning and colors are really impressive, plus a great attention to details. I like it a lot

Hey, you should give better names to the files in the zip
At times someone asks me where I got a wallpaper from, and its tough to get the deviant's name.

Absolutely love it, that planet looks so huge and longing to be explored especially as its illuminated by that great meld of colors.

beautiful...it almost look as an underwater scene with the light coming from that part and looking like it's a fluid. it's great because the whole scene seems to be moving very slowly and without any sound. not that kind of Hollywood planet explosion but a slow motion scene, where you can see clearly all the peaces spreading around. very peaceful

Thank you. The underwater feeling is actually a good sign. I'm glad it has this peaceful impact. I didn't want to create aggressive piece - those pieces are just slowly fading away from their homeworld. Some will remain as small satellites; as a reminder of that strong impact thet threw them away.
One thing is actually really interesting - lots of space images have that peaceful underwater feeling but these two sceneries are exact opposites (well, except the fact we can't breathe in them) - under the water, your view is diminished but you can hear much better. In the space, you can see further then anywhere else but you you are completely deaf...

Cool, it reminds me of a small planet perhaps artificially made for habitation. However, it looks broken now
