Recently I did a 50 day drawing challenge. Making a painting a day. The entire archive is on my Instagram, as posting 50 pictures is a bit to much work. But still want to share some of my favorite
This scene is based on JRR Tolkiens the Silmarillion. It depics the Flight of the Noldor through the HelcaraxΓ«, from Valinor to Middle-Earth. I always loved this small passage, it really captured the sense of intense hardship and pride of the Noldor Elves. I wanted to paint it for a while, so happy I finally did it.
