I don't get why these pictures are so amazing to everyone. I saw the Mature Content Filter said Sexual Themes. At first I was like:

What, you mean, not nude? Not clear on what you're asking. If it's about the nude thing, images are more erotic to me that leave something to the imagination.

Now THIS piece is definitely DD worthy!! I love the yellow/golden hues. Painting knives? I've never tried, I only use brush, and I still have much to learn. May I ask your technique? Did you freehand this?

Yes, I've heard oil is a whole other matter, I've yet to work with it, but I'm eager, just not sure how to go about working with it is all. The fact that it drys differently has me iffy. But this piece is wonderfully done. I'll have to buy painting knives and give it a try, have any tips on how to properly use them?
It would be grately appreciated.
OH! And one more thing, mind telling me what inspired this piece?

Well, don't be shy when using the knives. You can use two colors at once on the knife - complementary or contrast colors can give some nice effects. If you don't like the result scrape it off in the application stroke - it will still leave some nice color but flat enough to wipe off or paint over if you don't like it. Some people use a fan to dry their oils but if you are doing transparent layers you can get grit, etc. in the layers and that's not good for a smooth effect. So a drying medium io good, like Liquin.
