Description I have had such a blast coloring 's lineart It has been a delight bringing intense colors to this artist's distinctive work. Each seemingly random object in this composition worked together, and took on its own significance without detracting from the overall image. That's part of what I love about his style; it makes the viewer pause to examine the symbolism of the piece. I tried to to embellish each little box with tiny cabochons as a nod to Ninaste's attention to fine detail, and there's a couple Freudian references here as well, in the spirit of his examination of psychosexual themes.

I did the very best I could, my friend, and I'm so glad you like it. I'd really like to do this again sometime, too.

I cannot begin to understand the meaning behind this; I'm not familiar with a lot of Freudian sexual (or otherwise) themes. I'm seeing some doors and the heart looks like it's string on a puppeteering device. And the eye... Did ninaste explain it? What's happening?

Mmmm . . . eye is a crystal ball; the puppeting devices speak to the figure's desire to control all around him. Daniel sent me a Snapelike magician to color which was really sweet and thoughtful. I had wanted to color one of his psychological themes actually, but I think he did this to please me? Anyway he's not real familiar w/ the character which gave the lineart an interesting randomness . . . I like his work for alot of this random bizarreness, it's kind of Magritte/Dali surrealism. I think the teapots contain people's spirits/wills/souls?

Awesome Levi! It was a joy to color. Interesting how his art influenced the colors I used; it was very forgiving and gave me a lot of freedom

Thanks B For me, a great thing about collabs is what I learn. From this I came up with a cool brush that unifies the background, totally by accident

I LOVE the way you sorted the colors and the eye, I am not fond of the colors but I love how this looks, I had already imagined how I would paint this one but I just haven't and won't because I think it's a great work what you did right here

Oh I love the lamp too it shouldn't be on scraps anymore is really well done and I believe you are the first one to finish a collab with me

I am so relieved to hear you like this I know you'd never use this intense palette, but I appreciate your letting me run wild here, so to speak Your lineart is a joy to work with, seriously.
Hope we can do this again sometime, my friend
