Oh I absolutely adore the sheer volume and variety of colour here, the contrast between the dark cloud looming around the individual and the warmth of the light they're entranced by...gorgeously spiritual and intriguing.

I love those colours and that face... I'm fascinated with that kind of face. I suppose one could qualify it as simple and/or empty I suppose and it may be true but at the same time, it's the exact opposite... Am I making sense?
I suppose it might be because it reminds me of a mask and we all like to wear masks, whether it's a physical one or not...

Sometimes, those are the best ones... I wish I'd remember more of my dreams. I think I used to dream more or remember my dreams more some years ago.

Oo, the colours in this are quite delicious! I almost would have thought that this was done with watercolours due to the wash effects and all the interesting textured sections, but that's so cool that it's actually oils. I also love the way that you handled the face in profile ^^

Thanks very much! The textures are pretty much paint thinner flicked on oil glazes that have 'set up' for about 10 miutes
