Description
Examination of injury, and the terror of loss. I had an injury that may, or may not, eventually limit my ability to paint and draw. This was an attempt to document my feelings at the time.I should've added that I'm great now, just have to be more careful than I did in the past. No worries

NOTHING TO SAY
ENJOY!!
"Stephen was dropped on his head as a baby while his mother was visiting the Museum of Modern Art.
Ever since, he has been drawing, painting and scratching in a non-stop orgy of creation.
His paintings are psychological offerings, rich in irony and distortions, bristling with sublime, psychotropic colours.
Human forms struggle in an existential blending of mind and machine yet up through the conflict a subtle black humour percolates.
Always wear your helmet.
He is a member of Her Majesty's Secret Art Assembly, a coll AGAINST EBOLA 2014-16First of all: I would like to spread the idea of Stephane :iconjakezdaniel: so please listen, what he proposes!
I would like here too a book with our images, texts, for the people of Western Africa, for the medical associations working in the middle of the epidemy, to save lives, to save us all.
Please, let's create something together.
I would like you to spread the word.
We now have a group to help us with this project, so that we can propose works for this book to one of its gallery

You can suggest your work to this gallery:
Against Ebola
We'll then create a book with the works we consider the best ones. We'll put the book on sale on the internet and 100% of the incomes from this book will go to one of the medical associat

This piece is amazing, you really hit your topics dead on. I can feel the emotion and the pain you must have been feeling. The fear is so evident, this is a great piece of art!

I'm not surprised at all that you got a daily deviation from this, this is feeling directly transfered into images. What part of your body was injured? If you don't mind me asking? From my view it looks like the heart but that's probably reading from my own personal place of ache. It looks like you're split in two people and are mending, soothing yourself.
What medium is this?

Thanks - it was a complete surprise. I didn't know that's how a DD worked - someone who likes your work submits it to dA for a DD . . . so *nudge wink* don't be surprised if one day you have 200 + messages waiting . . . you most certainly deserve a DD

That's one of my greatest fear, to be stripped of my abilities to express myself creatively. For me, especially, would be the loss of sight.
And this speaks to me on such a deep level. The forms themselves, having no beginning nor end... the surrounding light. It's both painful and inspiring to behold.

Thanks - the green figure is despairing, and the white is comforting. Thanks for commenting, it made me think - as long as we're breathing, there's always hope
