Description
For 's contest to artistically portray one of his characters, and he extended its deadline until today, so instead of submitting a third version of his character as I was planning on last week, I submitted a fifteenth (yes, I used up fifteen pages trying to figure out what to do, what to fix, what to ruin...etcetera.)

Anyway!

Patchwork is a character who ties things together, so I thought I'd pack as much into a watercolor as I could!
This was a very bad thing to try, as I wound up wasting paper and frustration figuring out how to use old watercolors with old grade-school paintbrushes, so instead I put only a few of my original ideas in.
These select few are the freeform impressionistic ribbons in the background, the cord holding everything together (even her adorable little mascot)...and a knotwork clock, meant to signify continuity - as a bonus, while it isn't a twenty-four hour clock, one pm would be the thirteenth hour of the day should one begin counting after midnight, and Patchwork is from ~chinaguy16 's Thirteenth Hour project.

I may have wound up with a better outcome had I stuck to pencil or ink, but I'm fond of this, and as a first watercolor effort I'm pleased enough, though I wish I'd left the scroll-thing at the bottom off.
After the contest I may post a concept or two.

I'd appreciate some critique, but it's not a requirement
Mechanical pencil on watercolor paper, followed by watercolor, followed by Staedtler liners and a very blurry scan (which anyone will be able to see should they have high-contrast monitor settings and notice the mascot-bear-angel-bird-mosquito-thing).
