This has a 70's/80's boot-camp/cop movies feel in this character. Imagine if Top gun, The Sum of all fears, Broken Arrow and The Hunt for Red October movies get reenacted with ponies? Wouldn't that be weird? 0_o

I remember when she was such a nice pony. I know it's her job as a drill sergeant to be mean, but if they're not even using the same voice actor, they should've made it a different character. I don't know if I worded that right.

I didn't really like her new voice to be honest :/ If that is her new voice anyway, they could have just been using it for this ep. for the drill sargent persona, either way, the old one was more fitting for her

It's kinda, for those who've played the original Persona 4, the difference between Chie and Teddie's new and old VAs. Some liked, some didn't. Difference for me between that and this; I grew to like Chie and Teddie's new VAs, but I did not like Spitfire's.
(Didn't care for the episode much either, though that's because of my disdain for pretty much anything military shining through.)

With my dad being an officer himself, I can safely say that they have two different voices; one for ordering and one for everything else. This change isn't unusual, but it begs the question of whether or not Studio B changed the voice for this reason. I'm guessing not, but to hell with it all, this was a great episode!
