Description
This was a clear plastic airsoft gun from Walmart yesterday. I tried to keep it realistic with some custom bone grips!---

Does the slide still work in this configuration?

It sure does! It's good for a prop, but crap for airsoft combat

I had one of these. It disappointed me. I like Crossman's 1911 (Called the P311) better the Colt's.

About everything about the title is wrong. It's no colt (that I have ever heard of anyway), look at the trigger! it clearly says 9mm x 19 so it's not a 45, and it does not have a red dot.. a laser thou which is something completely different. thou the rail certainly makes it possible to install one.

It was a mixup on the photos when I posted it, apparently. I'll fix the description, thanks

Aha, I have one of these, too! It was the first airsoft weapon I ever used. If you're wanting to see another more flashy way that could have turned out here's the link to mine. [link]

This is true It was an earlier gun for me, so I think I started adding a brighter color soon after this

Favorited.
I like the grips, and the gun looks nice in general. I'd kinda prefer no rail or anything on it, myself, but still looks cool.

i have the same air soft
to tell ya the truth it aint all that great
not much power even for a air soft
it tends to shoot off to the left or right
whit out the laser the iron or plastic sight just sucks
and to me the way u have to turn on the laser meses wit your grip a little

Ya, the solid resin guns I paint don't shoot too hot either these work fine for shooting a bit, but the point of my guns is for prop purposes so I don't worry so much about the accuracy. Most of them I actually deactivate so they can be used on a movie set or at a convention. Good point tho. I have done a couple Tokyo Maru guns and they shoot really well, they just cost hundreds of dollars
get what ya pay for, I 'spose!

I have the same pistol (but sadly lost the laser and tactical rails after removal) and painted it the same way as this. I loved the style.

Thanks! Ya, it was to be kept mostly "authentic" with the grips being the only thing a little flashy. Sorry you lost the rail and light. I have an extra set I might be willing to part with to a fellow gun painter
