Description
Metal body, but everything you see it painted wear. The handles are a composite of some kind, I just painted over the stock "wood" look. This really came out nice and will be available if you are interested in it. The gun does still function as an airsoft.---

if I'm interested... how much you sell it? I'm really looking for a nice replica of this gun.

What did you make it from? Looks like my $150 GBB, and that's a compliment...

nice. This is an airsoft gun? any thoughts on converting it to a Star Wars blaster replica? you know this is the model gun that was used to create han solo's blaster right?

Ya, but a lot of people might not recognize that handle I thought that might be cool, but I'm honestly not sure if I could fabricate it for less than buying a nice replica would cost
It is an airsoft and although I've not held one IRL, It's got a great weight to it. It's about 10" long, but i don't know if that's full scale or not. Looks really cool though, even if it's smaller or whatever. I better look that up, eh? Hehe.
Thanks for the idea, I always appreciate that!

I bet with the right parts and pieces you'd be able to fabricate a pretty convincing mock up. I don't know if there are any working airsoft versions of the star wars blaster made from this... but I bet there are...
besides, if you're going to go to the trouble of recreate it then it'd be better to build one out of the real deal so it'd be an "authentic" re-created prop.

This is true, but the cost has to be covered by the end product. There's also the fact I can't weld as far as I'm aware I'd jump at the chance to paint some more really nice replicas. The ones I've done so far have been well received so I'm hoping more folks will trust I can do the same

Yeah... I bet welding would help. There's only so much JB weld epoxy can do!
