Complimentary Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kI3Mww…Expression of a concept, following the three main stages of a female's life. Starting out as a sapling, to then a flower in bloom, and finally, to become a great tree with many branches supporting various forms of life. Each stage has its own challenges and treasures.
I initially wanted to do the image using also a young girl and an older woman, but stock images of beautiful and graceful older woman (of which the world has many) seem to be in extremely short supply here at dA (which is a shame, because it limits artistic expression, and artificially limits our concept of beauty).

I have also had a problem finding "mature" female models on here! (Hence the reason I have to do my own modeling in those instances! hehehehe) We should start a petition, Jo!!!

There are many beautiful images of older women on DA, but it takes some time to find them.

I doubt I could easily find a profile shot to go with this one though. I'm not going to use whatever photo I can find, it has to fit with the overall theme, and that first of all requires a good body of images of a variety of older women in a variety of poses. This resource is fairly well established for girls and young women. It is not for older women.

Yep. There is a lovely older model named Alex with a gallery presence at dA, but sadly her work is pretty much exclusively not stock.
