Description
So I made a possible crest for Meiko Mochizuki.Facts:
· Meiko is very shy and lacks determination/decision.
· The second movie is titled "Ketsui" (Determination/Decision).
· In merchandising, Meiko is frequently represented with light red as her color.
· Meikuumon's eyes have star/cross-shaped pupils.
To top it all, save points in Undertale fill you with determination, and they are star/cross-shaped too. This isn't related to Digimon, but still, it'd be so perfect if Meiko had the Crest of Determination (or Decision).
Since Meikuumon is already a Champion, the only way she can evolve is via Crest or Jogress/ADN. Or you know, Armor... but that wouldn't give her much power - she'd be on par with Nefertimon probably.
Plus, I just love the concept of crests. I'd love it if they made a comeback in Tri.
Determination and Decision seem to be treated as synonyms. I only preferred Determination because of the possible Undertale references and jokes among fans, but being honest, Decision might sound better.

I have to agree. If there's ever another digimon special where Meicoomon is revived and purified and reunites with Meiko I can see this as her crest. though I wonder what Yolet and Cody's crests would be

Charisma or strength, she's always been a tough person, but either of them would work and Definitely honor for cody

I chose Charisma because of her ability to organize people and getting their stuff together, you know? I actually think she could have been as good a leader as Davis was xD

some people have pointed out that ketsui is closer to decision than determination
so decisiveness would be better so to say

When I look for possible translations, decision seems to be translated as "ketsudan" which is close but not the same :0

Oh well. I'll use both words. It's not like crests don't usually get dual names (innocence/purity/sincerity, faith/reliability/sincerity. and in spanish love is sometimes translated as affection, while kindness is called gentleness sometimes. languages are weird)

I was thinking darkness since no one has that yet but i like the idea that you have....... No one in the fandom seems to really like Meiko yet i feel bad for the poor girl.

That's the problem with darkness, actually. In Adventure it's portrayed as inherently bad - negative feelings power it very easily, but in Frontier for instance it's just another element, and light is not necessarily good.
I like it when darkness is "redeemed" and used for good purposes as it's pretty original, but if they did that with Adventure they'd have to do it very carefully so that they don't create a paradox with everything we've been told about the power of darkness before.

Who am I kidding though, there's like a 25% chance Meiko will get a crest, as much as I'd love her to get one. The Digimon crew seems to progressively forget about them throughout 02 and they weren't even mentioned in Tri. despite Omegamon happening somehow. But then again, most merchandising features the crests in some way. Let's Hope (xD) they don't fade into oblivion.
