This is friggin awesome... The Tanuki remind me a little of the Tanuki in the Inu Yasha manga by Rumiko Takahashi. If you haven't read it I know you'd totally dig it

On their own they are interesting to look at, but as a unit they have a dazzling effect.

I would love to see you do a version of the Gozu or Mezu
although Im not sure they're considered Yokai.....
