The technobabble in discovery has just turned into babble. So lets say mushrooms really have a network of "roads" throughout space...why would we be able to travel on those roads any faster than FTL?

Since this show is behind a CBS streaming paywall....I haven't actually seen most of it.
All I saw of it was part of the 1st episode that was broadcast on TV.
Although I had set the DVR to record STD.....

there was some kind of Oprah Wimfrey show was pre-empting itΒ for some reason,
so I had to FF through the 1st 25 mins or so of the recording before I even got to the STD part.
(***snicker***snicker***cough cough***)
so the entire ending was cut off.
If I had been able to have seen the entire show,
then maybe I would have been more inclined to make an effort (even a lazy effort) to try see it elsewhere.
I guess that I'll have to wait a few years until this show is in syndication or something.
