Without giving too much away, I loved how it was basically Watchmen meets Deep Impact when it happened.

So the old canon could still be canon if they want it to, basically.
and since TOR is still going on, basically everything from A New Hope and BEFORE, prequels and ALL their expanded content, games, movies, etc, are still canon, with the exception of the first Clone Wars cartoon where greivious was a badass. Β because Lucas didnt want Grevious to be a badass, he was supposed to be the sniveling coward that he was later made into with the movie and CG cartoons.
