Unless they fixed the controls and combat pacing since I last played it; I'd say Origins is the worst, as it's actuallt BROKEN, as opposed to Knight's tedium.

Ha!Β Yeah... finally got the game, played the story, gettin' around to finishing up those Riddler trophies and headed for New Game Plus.Β And, contrary to the expectations I developed while chugging through it the first time... I'm actually looking forward to it!Β My replay desire is increasing!Β Hell... even the Batmobile is growing on me.Β Especially since I learned you can toggle the controls.
This game excelled in some areas and fell short in others, but I find myself more and more prepared to forgive the latter in favor of the former.Β It's better than Origins, anyway, and that one had its good points too!Β I always said that if Origins had been the first game in the series it would've been far more highly regarded, but our standards have been raised significantly by Asylum and City.
In any case, you can't say Rocksteady's the type to beat a dead horse.Β Last game in the series (ostensibly)!Β So if it's getting tired then they're tastefully prepared to let it rest.Β If only other franchises had the dignity to know when to quit...

The Batmobile takes up so much of the game's story that it gets repetitive after the 50th tank drone battle. But the graphics are superb, the open world is big and those Riddler trophies do my head right in.

The Riddler trophies make up what is called "padding", used to make the game longer.
If they didn't use it, they wouldn't have been able to carve out so much content for the DLCs without people noticing.

I don't think John was right for the role. He sounded too composed, too... sane. Scarecrow needs to be unhinged and erratic.

Contrariwise, for me, that's the allure of Noble in the role.Β Someone who doesn't consider himself to be insane, acting completely and utterly rational towards a horrifying and entirely irrational goal.Β Leave Professor Pyg to the gibbering psychosis.Β Crane can be allowed to sound like Hannibal Lecter.

Post-traumatic stress?Β Just wild guessing.Β I mean, the man has to wear a leg brace now, and we can only guess what the full extent of Croc's mauling did to his face.Β That kind of physical trauma is certain to leave emotional scars as well.
And, if none of that floats your boat, Knight has been kind enough to mention that prolonged exposure to his own product has deadened his sense of fear.Β There's no telling what side-it's had on his emotional well-being.
Again, I'm just cracking off theories here.Β And I'm very likely trying to self-justify my fan-respect for John Noble's acting presence.

YES! I was waiting for something like this to happen! The base and everything else of the game was good, but the extra collections and DLC was horrible (but Red Hood was fun as hell).
There are more games coming out to Xbox One soon (like another Mirror's edge game, that one was funny, but I didn't understand the 'oh, thats why' frame) and I hope to see at least a couple more in the future (everyone is busy anyway).
