LOL. lmao. i frikkin worship you on this one. the wussy horse, outrunning the "tentacles", and "she'd better be worth it" had me bursting out laughing..... hanging onto the colossus is more annoying than annoying colossus....
dear god, people, i LOVE argo, the horse! he's so fun to jump off cliffs! is it DAMN TRUE you can make him actually jump off a cliff and DIE when you reach for a bird!?!?!?!?
did anyone ever realize that you can EAT in this game? eat all sorts of fruits, pinecones, BEEHIVES, lizard TAILS!?!?!? you can't kill the turltes, though...find those big pretty trees and you'll see apples, bananas, and these green things. shoot htem down w/ your bow and arrow, crouch, and pick them up. it BOOSTS your health!!!! they never mentioned that at all in the game guide or in the game!!!! i figured out that out when i was wandering around for hte fun of it, looking at how big the world was, saw the trees, realized you could climb them, and shoot down food! which you can EAT!
the only annoying part of the game is that you can't save whenever you want. i increased my health by a lot, then accidentally fell off a cliff, and it shot back to where i last saved--which was when I defeated a colossus--two hours ago!!!!

Shadow of the Colossus is on my personal top 5 best games ever, and i totally agree with your how to. i like the 4th and 7th panel. can't count how many times i tried to get Agro to leap off a cliff, or how many times i tried to outrun those tentacles

I was amused by the fact that your horse never WOULD die, even after you jumped off a million cliffs and it got clobbered fifty times by that sand snake colossi in the cave.
I could never outrun those stupid tentacles. -sigh-

Oh my, this is awesome. lol Argo is a pussy, he always stopped. But then again, when he did jump, I freaked out until I learned that there was ground down there. Hahahah. mmm, the tentacle game was quite fun. What was even more fun was making it EXTRA dramatic by trying to get the tenticles to smite you in mid cry. My friend said she was able to do it once...I haven't though, it's more challenging than it sounds. The end effect is priceless though, it comes out with Wander going: "Arg-gaaackcoughsputter-!"

Got to the 5 colosus and then my memory card got corrupted by a different game and wiped everything except my Mortal Combat Armagedon. So I never got to finish it.

I hadn't seen this one before and I just have to comment, that MY steed did not have a sense of self preservation at one point. My steed and I were galloping stead fast to get to one collossi and well neither of us saw the cliff ahead, and wwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeee into the water below we went. lol I learned to slow down if I can't see what's ahead of me.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most beautiful games ever. I'll often wander randomly around the map and then just leave the game on to stare at the scenery.
