I'm one of those crazy people that feels ripped off if a game irritates more than it entertains.GTA4 was pretty, but was shite to play.
SR2 was fun. Pure and simple.
(Wrote the script for this one ages ago. Didn't have time to draw it till now.)

I actually like the way SR2 looks more than GTA4. I don't like how Liberty City looks like the graphics were run through a very dirty old dishwasher. :/

Did you know that if you get hit by a car in SR2, you can possibly fly, like, fifty feet in the air? And then you stand right back up again after committing insurance fraud.
Wish it was that easy in real life.

Sorry to randomly bump in, but in it I got blown up (I have... no idea how actually, must have been a glitch) whilst in a van, and flews/span halfway across the map, then got out the van unharmed...

My brother found cheats for me, because I had no idea they existed. This one cheat give me a "pimp slap" or something. So I tried it. I got a foam finger and started using it on random people. They flew for, like, ever. And my brother used it online one someone who got off, but didn't log out. So he spent half an hour smacking this guy onto roofs and using a rocket launcher to get him down so he could do it again. [:

i must agree with all of that even though i beat sr2 in two days and i yet to have to ability or care for to play the other, it's just building dust in the corner of the stand.

My only complaint with SR2 was some of the gang AI.
You tend to have your own guys blatantly run you over when you give them good cars

To think that i got my 360 to play GTA4 in the first place... and then I got bored and played like half a dozen other games before I had the nerve to come back and finish it! But it's still an amazing game- if only they had left out that TheSims~esque relationship simulator XP
As for SR2: yes, it is more fun! Yes, it lacks all the elements that made GTA4 so hard to bare (weeell, you still get calls from your homies, but only if it's IMPORTANT buisness, for heavens sake!!!).
BUT! I have to confess to my own shame that this time I was so cheap as to buy the cut german version instead of the usual import. And by cut I mean _mutilated_! I finished this game in about 6 days, with all sidemissions cleared and all property bought, because so much of the actuall fun was left out. God, I feel so ripped off!

Nice comic, but I find SR2 gets very boring, very quickly. Activities get dull fast, as do the missions, really...

I still say GTA4 is a better game. Saying Gameplay makes the game beat anything is wrong, that is like saying Final Fantasy games are worse than Crystal Chronicles, just because Crystal Chronicles has more fun gameplay, while the Real FF series has just the story. Or Metal Gear Solid game are not anygood, because you sit through longer cutscenes than there is gameplay.

SR2 is one of my favorites of all time. Only Beef I got with it, minor Glitches/Freezes, Story's Script is kind of lacking, and of all the customizations they DIDNT Add...they didn't add a "create-a-homie" or "create-your-gang" mode...
Like...Let me have an overly large bitch on the back of my bike with a shotty in daisy dukes (I would have been happy with JUST that BTW and not even care about the rest of what I'm gonna say xD) and then have some CRAZY ass huge dude named Barret with a mini-gun in a truck behind me, Then have some crazy asian girl with the Ronin's Samurai sword on another bike behind me

I wanted atleast a cheat code to "Hire-Anyone". Kind of like GTA Vice City, that one code you could have anyone be your follower...I always winded up with a bitch on roller blades following me hearing her skates then hear her thud as she trips CONSTANTLY. lol It just adds to the hilarity. I wish you could do more on the customizing gang part but other then the Gang's Minor Components and the Glitches, SR2 is the SHIZ. I don't get why people don't think SR2's graphics aren't good, they are to me. @_@
Between the GoW2 Lancer (Chainsawin mofo's for the win!) and Saints Row 2's Meatshield Grapple/TOSS, I don't know what to pick for "Best Gameplay Feature".
ALSO A COOL FEATURE IN SR2! SHOCK PADDLES! Say you killed some one you really didn't want to? JUST USE SHOCK PADDLES! It brings them back to life!

Ah, someone after my own heart. I really didn't like GTA4. I actually counted the length of time it took me before I could shoot someone in the face in both games. Two and a half hours for GTA4, and two minutes for SR2.
And I'll be the first to admit, I loved running around with a game that was all military/security guard-esque.
