Howard the Duck for president. Even he's less of a joke than Trump.

Kristal: Kristal's Jounal, chapter 26...the multiverse. Countless worlds upon worlds. In the omniverse, every possible reality exists. I've recently become aware that we are not alone, that life on other planets is a fact. My quest to find what lies beyond my eyes begins with these words...in the beginning there was Howard the Duck.

Yep, you nailed it, man. The look, the mannerisms, the expression of utter contempt for this reality (at least in the old film, not sure about the comics or possible reboot).....just, everything. Even the freaking cigar he's holding has an extra dose of "Don't **** with me, bub." going on there. It's just....awesome.Β

It was a Marvel comic before a movie

Yeah, I know. He first appeared on Adventure into fear #19 in 1973. They changed his design for the film as they felt he bore too much of a passing resemblance to Donald Duck.

Did you like his cameo in Guardians and would love to see a show based on him?
I mean audiences accepted a talking raccoon with a gun

Yeah, I liked the way he looked better in the 80's film. It was still kinda cool.

He did not look better in the 80s film as he looked phony with that plastic duck costume when it should had been Stan Winston or Rob Bottin as originally intended.
Yet Howard looks better in Guardians as he looked like his comic counterpart and i think a reboot should do him justice as Marvel does better with their own studio than just licensing in the past.
And what do you think of Rocket Raccoon?

I didn't like him better for "realism", I liked him for the old fashioned 80s effects I grew up with.Β I'm a bit partial to practical effects as opposed to digital. Oh, and Rocket Racoon was OK.

The technology has gotten better now thanks to Avatar and Rocket was badass as we have the technology to do Marvel justice as no way rocket would be made in the 90s.

Well, I respect how you feel, but I prefer practical effects. To each his own.

Howard's more enjoyable in series of shorts rather than a full movie.

How about a Netflix TV show on Howard which can be son of Zorn meets Deadpool and Sunny in Phildelphia

Mmmm...MAYBE. Extremely. If it was an HBO show, absolutely, like I said, Howard's best in bursts--it's the sort of IP that falls apart after marathoning.

It can make people forget about the Lucas film as much as Daredevil the show made everyone forget about the 2003 Fox film

And audiences did accepted a talking raccoon with a tree for a friend.
Even Captain America movies made us forget about the terrible TV movies and 1990 films.

Excellent yet the movie missed the point of the satire but Marvel studios can do better with a show
