My version of Bumblebee I wanted to make
Be a little more useful and really show his role as scout and now analyst. I knew that I wanted him to be a cute little kid, but now I think I moved more towards a little sarcastic teenager type of attitude. He cracks wise a bunch and constantly does what he thinks is best, even if it's annoying or against Optimus wishes. Think rattrap mixed with g1 bee and I think that's his attitude a lot , at least at the start. His history also really shows that more dark corporate part of the autobot society being a shitty archive analyst that was only made to do a job and didn't even have a name or identity until coming to Earth and being able to thrive in his illegal activities (not illegal on earth tho 👀)
There is SO MUCH backstory I wanted to add, but I had to keep it as focused as I could. And you'll see more get fleshed as I do more bios and designs! ( I may even just make a whole separate page dumping a bunch of this juicy cybertron lore I cooked up)

Now this design I am SUPER HAPPY WITH!! It took me so long to figure out how I wanted to make this stand out but still bee. I knew from start that I wanted him to look like a bee. Or at least have more bee like features in his design. That and I wanted to show that he is a more tech-savvy and adventurous type bee. The hexagon shaped glasses totally do this for me, and when they're down, it just adds to his character so much more. The bee door wings ofc a classic on bee help along with using the front of the car to look like a bee face and eyes, the roof of the car making a waistcoat but also from profile look like a thorax, the hive, antennae and the hexagon patterns all over. I really am so proud of how it came out, and ik I just started, but this is already my favorite design 🤣 I can't wait to doodle it more.
