I love that the deviantID profile widget has an "Interests" feature, which allows you to display a bunch of information about yourself in a collapsible segment at the bottom of your deviantID. Technically, this is a great feature because it gives you the opportunity to present some key facts about you in a concise and structured manner, rather than having to place them somewhere in your regular "About me" text where they can easily be overlooked.

However, the problem is that those pre-defined, unfortunately non-modifiable interests are not really what I (and supposedly also many of you) want to put there, and writing all of your additional points into the "Other interests" field isn't a very satisfying solution. Wouldn't it be great if each of the points were freely customizable, so you could entirely decide for yourself what to display in the "Interests" section?

In my opinion, most certainly yes, which is why I've created this visual mockup to display how that could be implemented! It's actually really simple: In the editor of the "Interests" section, each interest field is accompanied by a Remove button, which can be used to delete that field if it's not needed. On top of that, an additional line is added to the very bottom, which gives you the possibility to add custom interest points. Just type in the heading/title of the interest that should be added, hit the Add button and voilà, a new input field with the desired title will appear. How a customized "Interests" section would look like is displayed at the bottom of the preview image.

That's it already! Please let me know what you think of this idea!
