soooo...atleast 4 of the guys who have commented (quite positively I might add...) are well known artists in the industry. 1 of them the amazing `TimTownsend ... yea, you're def doing something right

this piece is a great balance between cold and harsh, and ambiance and organic. the atmosphere created while not dismissing technical stuff... brilliant. love love

Lovely! Did you use a ruler for those building edges or is it just skill and experience?

The sketches with pencil have a special charm, don't you think?

Part of me wants to ink this soooooo badly. the other part wants to beat the shit out of that part, to keep whatever hair I have left in my head right where it belongs. Awesomely impressive work as always man. You and Greg are doing an incredible job on this book.

No prob man. I've inked a few incredibly detailed backgrounds in the past, and couldn't wait to get through them so the pain would subside. I've seen this one on Facebook, and glad to see it at a larger size here. this series, and Finch's (as well as JLA) are pretty much the only ones I've been getting.

This is the stuff that sets the great inkers aside from the rest. It's the little things, the "busy work". If you can get yourself inspired to tackle stuff like this the rest is cake. Great stuff as always!

Terrific work. I wonder, what process do you use for the white lines over the blacks? I ask this because once you apply the black everything under it disappears, so how do you ink over Greg's lines with the white ink? Or do you go by eye?

Wow!!!
must have been hell to work on this page.
I would be so nervous to ruin it by spilling ink on something by accident.

this is very impressive. i watched a few of the youtube video's you have up. i like them a lot. how did you go about inking in the building? did you use nib and brush for the straight lines or a tech pen? i curious to know since i work on the transformer comic for IDW and i've always wanted to use my nibs to ink with, but i usually go with a tech pen so i can have a consistent line weight for the bots. but i'm always looking for new ways of doing things, and i really enjoy the work you do

This art is great, beautiful! As someone wanting to work in comics though, a page like this would be my nighmare, just buildings.
