Description
This was a sample piece Philip Tan penciled for Amazing Fantasies: The Scorpion. When my editor asked me if I could give it a looser more brushed look I thought to myself "great another bad idea" so I inked the background a tad looser but tried to stay true to Philips pencils on everything else. I remember thinking to myself man it would be great if we could stay together for years to come. Philips talent is insane and I felt at home inking him, even if it was just the one page.

The crazy thing is Marvel decided to go with a different penciller, mistake number 2.

Who knows maybe some day we can work together for more than one page, Philip.
