So about a week or so ago, I got a bad cold and had to rest it off. So while I was recuperating, my friends , , and wanted me to watch Steven Universe. Since I had to rest the blasted cold, I decided then would be a good time to sit back and watch the show. Needless to say I was not disappointed!
I FRIGGIN' LOVE THIS SHOW.
The story is really well written, the jokes are timed perfectly, and the cast of characters is absolutely wonderful! (Although, not gonna lie, Amethyst gets on my nerves from time to time, and Lars is a complete jackass. 
)So in tribute to a show that not only help me fight off the cold, and to this day still cracks me up and brings on the tears, I draw my favourite character in the show: Steven himself! (And Mr. Queasy!
)Hope y'all enjoy! (And for that matter, WATCH THIS SHOW!)

I love this show so much: female/non-binary characters as developed protagonists voiced by non-whites for a change; a male character who is sensitive and cries but which isn't portrayed as a bad thing (I love male characters like that, and I don't understand why there's this belief in American society that boys aren't allowed to show emotion); and the art style with all the exaggerated expressions and poses is just beautiful to look at. \๏ผยดโ๏ฝ๏ผ/

I completely agree with you! Steven Universe is very beautifully done, with the quirky humour, incredible lore, very down-to-Earth characters and setting, and the emotional spectrum from Steven and crew! It's a show that doesn't pull punches, and yet make it connectable for kids and adults alike!

Heh... I don't blame you for loving the show... on a whim, I had decided to see the first episode to see if it would be good... needless to say (Mainly because of my dissapointment in a lot of CN shows), I was surprised how good the show turned out to be... and even more surprised by it getting better with each episode... character wise, Steven is adorable and so innocent, it is refreshing...
Anyway... glad you liked the show...

Steven Quartz Universe, the titular character of Steven Universe. He's a half-human, half-Gem (an intergalactic race of gemstone-based beings.) kid raised by three gems named Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl. Definitely give this show a watch!
