Description
Please use FULL VIEW28" x 22" Acrylic
This is a collaboration between my girlfriend and I
I tried to get the colors and quality to look like the original, but that is the problem with cameras and lighting, can't get it to look perfect. The original is more yellow and brighter, a warmer feeling to it and I hope that this image still gives a feeling of warmth
Thank you for checking out our painting

Thank you very much!! May I ask how would it be used in this online game? I don't understand how our painting can be used for a game. Depending on it's use I may grant you use of our picture. I just want to understand better. Thanks and God bless!!!

This is an absolute beauty! I am yet to try acrylic on canvas, have worked with oil so far. how different is to work with acrylic with respect to shading, mixing, drying, using oil (if any!), brushes?

Thank you Well, I haven't had any experience with oil paint, but my fiancee has. From the advice I've given her on oils is that it seems you have to treat your canvas as a palate because the paint doesn't dry. Acrylics dry relatively fast, so most of the time you don't need to worry about paints mixing when you add more paint over the paint already on the canvas. You can buy retarders that slow the drying time of acrylics so that they are more like oil. I find acrylic is the most versatile of paints because they can be like oil and watercolor. It is great for layering because you don't need to wait like you do with oil paints. Synthetic brushes work best because acrylic can be thin at times, but pig hair can be used as well when you paint heavily in acrylic. I believe mixing is the same, the type of pigments you use matter most more than if they are oil or acrylic. I believe you can put oil over acrylic, but you can't put acrylic over oil. The reason for that is because the way they dry, oil takes a lot longer and acrylic is elastic where oil is not. If oil cracks underneath your acrylic then it ruins the painting, that is why it has to be on top. Not to mention it won't dry properly if covered by acrylic. Hope that helps, it's all I can think of at the moment. I think the biggest difference between the two is their drying time, so it requires you to take a different approach to how you mix and shade. Good luck with acrylic, take care and God Bless!!!

That was some useful information for me to even make an attempt to start an acrylic one. I have worked with oil and you really need patience to let it dry. That's why I used to work on 2-3 paintings simultaneously
Thanks again for the reply.
Cheers,
Nupur

Thank you so much! Yes, you aren't the first to mention that, others have said it reminds them of his work...not mulan though, that is a new one. I will have to watch it again to see what you mean
