Description
Please use FULL VIEW28" x 22" Acrylic
This is a collaboration between my girlfriend and I
I tried to get the colors and quality to look like the original, but that is the problem with cameras and lighting, can't get it to look perfect. The original is more yellow and brighter, a warmer feeling to it and I hope that this image still gives a feeling of warmth
Thank you for checking out our painting

The idea of the original being warmer and more glowing than this is amazing; this right here captures so many beautiful tones and is so beautiful on its own right.
You and your girlfriend did an amazing job!

Thank you very much I love it when paintings pop out, wish more traditional art did so. You only seem to see it with digital art

You both are very much welcome =] Don't agree, I find traditional art work more eye popping then digital. But, I've always thought that way =] =] =]
See something for what it is... Do an act of kindness... See the world closer...

I don't think digital is more eye popping either, it's just the internet is a digital world and digital art is showcased in it's true form. So it tends to be richer in color and clarity. Unless you have really good equipment you can't truly showcase traditional art the way it is supposed to be seen. I know a lot of the traditional art is probably a lot more colorful, clear and beautiful in person than the way it is seen on here, because a lot of them don't have good equipment. Anyway, just saying I prefer traditional to digital too
By the way, great saying

this is great! the first thing i heard rather than saw were the trees saying "i must warn you sir! the journey ahead is not an easy one!" in some fairytale manner, or Dr. Suess perhaps?
great use of the trail to make the trees look large too, really added to the gravity of those words in my head. this must be faved

*nods* Is very pretty, very pretty. I think it looks fine. *is attempting to imagine it with more yellow*...Sorry, it's not working. This way, it's kinda like looking into a sunset. ^^

hehe, thanks so much, well not more yellow, but a little richer. The camera made the yellow a little blander, kinda green in areas. In person it has more subtle colors that you can see because it's a little brighter, the photo is darker We're just happy that so many love it

I think that the dark goes really well with what you were trying to portray. It makes the bright stand out that much more

Jonsama In reply to bad-luck-delivery [2008-06-30 22:25:50 +0000 UTC]
Thank you Yeah it does make it brighter
It's just that there is actually more color in darker areas that you don't see
we wish you could see it.

This is definitely a unique, remarkable piece of art. I get the feeling that the two trees are lovers who have bonded together and will continue to grow old with time...
