28" x 22" Acrylic

This is a collaboration between my girlfriend and I She did the design (sketch) She also painted a lot of the sky, mountains and trees. I helped and did a lot of the grass, leaves and touch ups to the painting to give it my feel, my style. I really am happy and proud of the work we did and hope you like it too.

I tried to get the colors and quality to look like the original, but that is the problem with cameras and lighting, can't get it to look perfect. The original is more yellow and brighter, a warmer feeling to it and I hope that this image still gives a feeling of warmth I will attempt upload a better photo in the future

It's been a long time since I have seen something new for you . It's nice to se you two again

I really like the painting, especially the detailed grass and those leaves on the tree. The idea of the design is really good and it reflects the relationship between you two. It's really lovely to take a look at it

Continue with those great works and keep the lovely relationship all to the end

Hmmm, well, we worked on it off and on because there was no rush to finish it, but if you totaled it up it would probably be about 5 full work days more or less

acutally about 40 hours Can't be sure because we both worked on it and we plugged away at for over a long period of time. I would say in the last week I spent about 10 hours It all really depends on inspiration and how quick I want to get it done. Some can take about 3 days(20-25 hours) Others about 2 weeks total (80-100 hours) Size and concept really are what make the difference in time it takes, that and how clearly I envision what I want to paint.

Oh ok thanks, for some reason time is a huge factor to me when it comes to viewing other peoples artwork. I like to think of the detail and commitment that went into the drawing

Thank you very much, we're happy that you get so much out of looking at it. We really love creating a mood with color. Color is probably 50% of a painting if not more. That's just my opinion though. Wish you could see the real color though, it's brighter and warmer in person

Thank you so much, unfortunately we had to cover some of the sky up with the two giant trees, still it was worth it for the overall look and feel of the painting

i think it turned out really well. i love the quality of the light you have as well. not always easy to get bright light to have that bright light feel on a drawing like this!

Thank you very much! It's something I always try to do, create light, bright paintings with rich color. Of course my girlfriend's composition/idea really adds to the effect
