Here's another PotFW design! This time it's Primonk's mother Nancy Primal.

Nancy is a kind loving motherly figure with a tough side that doesn't take crap from anyone. Having a short temper that's triggered by anyone trying to hurt her kids or try to screw her over. She runs her own bar & inn known as 'The Plunder Barrel', where she tends the bar. She's kind and charitable but if you refuse to pay full price without a good reason, she'll personally hunt you down to make you pay or make you work off your debt. In her youth Nancy was a notorious pirate known as 'Nightmare Nancy', since she was a kid when her father would bring her along on his adventures (due to Grandmonk being a pirate they have live on the run). She dropped the pirate life after the birth of her first son Perceus followed by the birth of her second son and our main protagonist Primonk.

Nancy loves her kids dearly, and while protective is also supportive of Primonk's dreams to become a pirate. Primonk inherited his temper and fighting spirit from Nancy, in fact Nancy was the one who taught Primonk how to fight and trained him to be super strong.

Nancy's outfit was inspired by Jim Hawkins Mom from Treasure Planet. I tried to strike a balance between making Nancy look similar enough to Primonk so that it's believable as his mother but also not just make her look like Primonk dressed up like a woman. I also had to strike a balance between making her look significantly older than Primonk (since she's his mother) but also not make her look geriatric. Maybe this is new drawing bias but I honestly feel like this might be one of the best model sheets I've drawn so far, I feel like I'm getting better at the cross-hatching look here.
