alright here are my designs for Dr Robotnik and his two scientist sidekicks Snively and Grimer as they'll appear in my comic Sonic Odyssey.Dr. Ivo Robotnik- an insane robot obsessed mad scientist who controls most of the planet Mobius. He is cunning and very intelligent and skilled with robotics but is also a bit of a manchild who who finds enjoyment in causing mass destruction and enforcing his rule onto others.
Snively Robotnik- Robotnik's nephew, a disgruntled and devious and treacherous man who holds alot of resentment towards all those around him (especially his uncle) and always seeks to try and overthrow his uncle and take over his empire.
Grimer- Robotnik's most loyal minion who helps him with genetic work, he's a creepy and devious scientist with grotesque appearance due to preforming experiments on himself. Grimer is sadistic and likes to preform freaky genetic experiments on people.
and those are my versions of the mad scientist characters in Sonic Odyssey.
Sonic and related characters are owned by Sega, Sonic Team, Archie Comics, and Fleetway Comics.

It looks like a combination of the original Robotnik Prime from the REALLY old Archie comics (1-25 or so) and Eggman.

Little trivia fact, Grimer in STC was originally supposed to be Snively, cuz nigel kitching thought he wouldve been contractually obligated to use him since satam was coming out, and the script that kitching wrote that introduced grimer originally had all of his lines attributed to Snively, but when kitching found out he didnt have to use snively he created his own henchman for robonik, resulting in grimer

Interesting, kind of reminds me of a scrapped idea I had where I would merge Snively and Grimer into one character and after Snively pisses Robotnik so much that he decided to punish him by mutating him into a Grimer like appearance but I scrapped that idea since I felt that I could have a interesting dynamic with Snively being treacherous compared to Grimer's loyalty.Β

read in the wiki that the creator of Grimer was going for something reptile. Good idea on making him focus on bio-genetics.Β
