Description
Stalin appointed to renowned russian architects the creation of skyscrapers around Moscow during the cold-war era to compete with those in USA. This one is settled at the top of a hill in Moscow which is part of the Moscow state University. Beautiful style (Baroque and Gothic combination). Other 6 similar buildings were built around the city.

The difficult part about this building is that it is really symmetric. If you walk around it in a circle it's really difficult to know where you are and if the circle is already complete or not (That is if you don't know the surrounding by heart). But it is indeed one of the most beautiful buildings in Moscow.
