I couldn't let the week end without doing one new pic for myself And since I'm the only one in the family who doesn't watch the Superbowl no one bothered me

Seems I'm in a Mara trip right now. But then I finally got a copy of "Allegiance" last week and I'm only halfway done (yeah, I'm a slow reader, lee'me 'lone!!). I especially liking Mara's storyline in this book.

So I wanted to try drawing a teenage Emperor's Hand Mara. I tried not to draw her as full-figured as I normally do.

I think I failed

But I hope I at least made her look younger. In the book, Zahn discribes her outfit like the one she usually wears on the Japanese covers, but I made the armor on her legs a little more stormtrooper-ish. She also carries a compact Blastech pistol so I just made a pistol version of the E-11 (stormtrooper rifle). And her lightsaber is Magenta.

Hopefully I'll be able to color it soon, I have a few commissions I still need to finish coloring, but this is definitely going to be the next one of my pics I color

Okay, I couldn't sleep. I had to at least come back and fill in the base colors

FINISHED!!!

I really tried to get some work done, but I quickly realized I wasn't going to be able to concentrate on anything else while this pic was left unfinished. So I just had to get it done and out of the way.

I did redo Mara's lightsaber to resemble the saber she's holding in the backcover of "Allegiance". As much as I loved my last Mara pic, I am just stupidly proud of how this one turned out. I wish I could've done a proper background, but I really didn't have the time.
