Tutorial how to Fake/make a summer beach picture

July is wet and cold, absolutely NOT the weather for making summer pictures.
Well, then we have to Fake it.

We need:
1. A blue background. Thin cardboard
2. A towel
3. Glasses with water
4. Curry powder
5. Paprika powder
6. Straws
7. Shells
8. Sunglasses
9. Salt
10. Lamps, these are ordinary bureaulamps
11. Some icecubes (not in the picture) ...Warning, they melt fast under the hot lights...

A and B. You pour some curry powder in one glass and paprika powder in the other. Stir it a little. These are our fake lemonades. By lack of lemon for one of the glasses I used a slice of tangerine. Add the straws.

The salt (9) will be our sand, its cheap, and in the picture it looks just like beach-sand.
The Set-up, place the cardboard partly against a wall, and partly on a flat surface.

Now start making combinations with the attributes, glasses lemonade, sunglasses, fake sand, shells etc. Play with the light, what works for your picture, light from the side or light from above...? Use your imagination in what more you could use in a beach/summer picture.

And hopefully the result looks like one of my pictures.
