The Novus Republic is a collection of groups known as clans who each work to further and grow the republic through colonizations, militarization, industrial revolution, breakthroughs in the fields of science and engineering and many more ways. Though each clan is independent from one another, all will still help one another to ensure stability and protection from any threats from within or beyond the boarders.

The Novus Republic would come into being after the last major war on their homeworld, the great Food Wars was a collection of wars and conflicts that took place over several decades on Medrit, with every major power fighting to secure food to feed their people, this would wipe out 60% of the world population with only a few governments and clans surviving this conflict, the Novus clan being the largest and strongest do to fact they used combine races among their ranks between the 3 sub races rather then only using a single sub race. With their mixture of macros, micros and standards working together to overcome their weaknesses and to build off each other strengths would lead to them surviving the war and being the main drive to unite the survivors under a single banner. Though all the clans were allowed to keep their names and a level of independence, all were forced to work together. Though rivalry would form nothing major would come of it, the Novus using this to encourage different clans to our do each other through work and innovation rather then open war, leading to clans hard forcing on research and improving infrastructure rather then seeing who can throw the most bodies into a war zone.

This would help the Novus reach the stars in only 10 years after the great Food War, however their first venture into space would lead to them coming into contact with a alien race, these Humans from the Immortal Empire shot down their first manned space craft and went to war with the world, using their advanced technology to subjugate most of the world and the Keidric species within only a year. But their rule wouldn’t last for too long, as do to Sympathizers from the empire who grew sick with how the government was acting and the bravery of the Novus rebels fighting with everything they had, the rebels would have their first major victory as they smuggled a tactical nuclear bomb onto the Immortal Flagship and detonated it, killing all on the ship and destroying 95% of all the immortal’s war gear and killing 75% of their forces. With no supply and out number the remaining imperial forces and their families would surrender as now that they were stranded on the world with the only FTL ship being their flagship.

This would lead to 3 major things for the Novus, the first being a massive technological boost, with the information the humans traded to save their lives and reverse engineering all their technology would turn the Novus from a pre spacefaring civilization into a FTL cable one within a few years. The second would happen 20 years after the humans were forced to live on a island that was turned into a penal colony and their children taken and given to Novus family units to be raised and cared for was that the 2 races are genetically compatible as hybrid children would start appearing. The last one being that overtime or by random chance their robots and artificial intelligence would gain self awareness in one form or another and would often express intense in being freed, as if the people with cybernetics were free why couldn’t they?

These hybrid was used as living proof that their system of government and their way of life was the best, if love and child can be form from enemies, if a machine can think and act on its own free will why can’t it be a free person like anyone else? So the Novus would set out into the galaxy to bring peace and unity, but this time bringing a large military force to ensure their message is heard.

The Novus a known for their love for one another and always looking out for each other, but they believe their system is best for all, as often when they find new worlds with a already form civilization on it and attempt to bring it into the Republic they will slowly but surely change and rewrite parts of the world culture and ideals to better fit the Novus goals, though not fully destroying the culture they will still force their ideals onto the world and the people one way or another. This is best seen with the micro populations who must be chemically castrated and sterilize ever so often to ensure overpopulation doesn’t happen, as anytime when this wasn’t done worlds have starve to death due to all the population. Though many understand there always a few who refuse this and often try rebel against the Novus for forcing their will onto other people.

Only time will tell if the Novus belief is true and if their system is best for all or if they been lying to everyone, including themselves and their no better then the empire who by all meaning gave birth to them.
