Battleing can be a scary thing in the pokemon evo world.Here is a Graveler just out of its pokeball.
Gravelers are a rock type pokemon and build up a hard rock like shell by eating sand. The sand acts like calcium and works its way to the gravelers skin, making a thick sandstone armour.
It has a large headplate because in the wild they wrestle and headbutt for the right to mate with the females.
Graveler belongs to a small minority of pokemon that have what scientists call 'the hidden gene'.
Its a evolution gene that over many generations has become hidden or switched off. it was only when it was triggered through the rading process that it became apperent and switched back on, allowing the graveler to evolve into its next stage, Golem.
Scientists are still on the hunt for these hidden genes in many pokemon as they belive they could find some of the strongest pokemon known to man.

IDK about your setting, but in my realism AU I imagine subtle hints of evolution occur over time. The metamorphosis of Evolution occurs when the Pokemon has reached a point that they can no longer be considered the first stage. still haven't decided how I want to do that, but I know it's not gonna be it gets all shiny.

mine has a metamorphosis stage, where within a few weeks- month, the pokemon slowly changes into its next form. however you could defiantly tell a more newly evolved pokemon to an older one

i like this graveler better, the original just doesnt look right. it fits with the evolutionary scheme but it isnt aesthetically pleasing, yours by the way is sooo much better. as with evolving into golem the original makes more sense then this cuz its stays in a spherical shape, obviously yours is more humanoid. to b honest i didnt realize it was graveler until i opened it. great job and sorry for polluting your account with all my comments. to get back at me go to mine and pollute as you please.

thanks, i really appreciate it, but i dont really want to stay in the pixel art area, id like a scanner cuz i have dozens of things i could submit, taking pictures gets annoying cuz of lighting if you know what i mean, lines get blurred, areas are too dark or bright

thats pretty good, look for shops or companies who sell on ther, then go into their inventory, a lot of the time they will have the same thing but cheaper

usually im not too much of a fan of graveler but yours is awesome. it kinda looks like some kind of crab golem thing. its weird how it goes from 2 arms to 4 then back to 2 again. the evolutions i mean

yer, personnally i think that golem was drawn to be a seperate pokemon and to save time they added it to the graveler line, cos the changes are 2 differnt, glad u like mine tho

i like golem and kinda graveler but they always make golems back look dumb in the game and they just never seem to show graveler using all fours AND looking cool while doing it.

yeah your graveler and golem are awesome. even though in the games i like golem better i think i like your graveler more than the golem because you bring out gravelers rock hard four armed awesomeness. dont get me wrong though your golem is pretty dang cool as well
